Murphy Oil Louisiana refinery floods neighborhood

June 2009 rain event in Southeast Louisiana causes refinery to flood. (around 4:14 mark) Murphy Oil's Meraux refinery unable to contain its own storm water, which overflows onto adjacent ExxonMobil pipeline easement, used as non-compliant parking lot , which floods neighborhood canal, overflowing into residential yards and street. While residents wait for local code enforcement and other common sense remedies, Murphy Oil discharges oil in neighborhood canal, December 2009 .
